How an Aikando rollout works
From a 20-minute demo to a single-workstation pilot and rollout: how plants deploy Aikando: no IT project, no coding, at their own pace.
Deploying a tool on the shopfloor should not be a quarter-long project. Aikando is designed so the first effect is visible on a single workstation before anyone decides about scale.
Step 1: a demo on your own example (20 minutes)
We show Aikando on a use case from your shopfloor, not on marketing material. After the call you know whether it fits your processes, before you commit your team's time.
Step 2: a pilot on one workstation
You pick one workstation, ideally the one with the highest turnover or the longest onboarding. An expert records the first tasks during normal work, and new hires start using them. The pilot runs on your numbers: time-to-autonomy, repeated trainings, first-week mistakes.
Step 3: rollout at your own pace
Once the pilot numbers stand on their own, the instruction library grows workstation by workstation. Your experts create the recordings, with no coding and no dependency on external contractors. The team gives feedback, and the instructions become a shared, continuously improved standard.
What you need to start
- Hardware: XR glasses or a mobile device, decided at the demo, depending on the use case.
- People: one expert who knows the task, and one person owning the pilot on your side.
- IT: no integrations to start and no change to existing processes. Data processing is governed by our Data Processing Terms, and security details are covered at the demo.
How long does it take?
The first instructions exist on the day of recording, since a recording becomes ready-to-use material in minutes. The pilot's length depends on turnover at the chosen workstation; we set it together so that the scaling decision is made on data, not promises.
