How does Aikando differ from PDF or paper instructions?

How does Aikando differ from HR onboarding apps and documentation translation tools?

These tools solve different parts of the onboarding problem. HR onboarding apps (e.g. mobile checklists) handle documents, consents and formal compliance. Translation tools convert documentation and procedures into other languages, but still require reading. Aikando picks up where these leave off: it trains hands at the machine. An expert records a task, and the new worker replays it visually, step by step, at the workstation, without reading lengthy documents and without a shared language. These categories complement each other: formalities in the HR app, documentation in the translation tool, hands-on onboarding at the machine in Aikando.

Does Aikando require programming skills?

No. Aikando works without coding: experts create instructions themselves by recording a task. You don't need an IT department or a team of developers to get started.

Which industries and use cases is Aikando for?

Aikando works well anywhere practical knowledge needs to circulate quickly: maintenance, repair, assembly lines, quality control and training. One platform supports multiple production halls.

Does CAPTiX run maintenance training and courses for maintenance managers?

CAPTiX is not a training company in the traditional sense: we don't run external courses or certifications. Aikando is a platform that a plant uses on its own to record the knowledge of its best maintenance technicians and turn it into visual diagnostic and repair instructions. This lets maintenance managers build their own in-house training programme, based on the plant's real procedures rather than generic course material.

This supports on-the-job coaching and day-to-day work; formal health and safety training required by law is carried out in line with applicable regulations, and Aikando complements it rather than replacing it.
