Quality checks: one standard on every shift

Checks done "each their own way" give diverging results. Aikando's visual checklists guide every inspection to the same standard, right at the workstation.

A quality check is only as good as the repeatability of how it is performed. If every shift checks differently (different order, different acceptance criteria), quality data stops being comparable, and defects slip through between shifts.

The problem: acceptance criteria live in interpretation

A paper checklist says "verify correct assembly", but doesn't show what correct assembly looks like and how it differs from a defective one. New inspectors calibrate for months; experienced ones each go by their own eye.

How Aikando supports quality checks

Inspection stops depending on the inspector's eye: the standard is visible instead of imagined.
